SMASH Database Schema

There are six tables in the smash_dr1 database:
FIELD: Summary information for each field.
EXPOSURE: Information for each exposure.
CHIP: Information for each chip of each exposure.
SOURCE: All of the individual source measurements.
OBJECT: Average values for each unique object
XMATCH: Crossmatches between SMASH objects and Gaia, 2MASS and ALLWISE.

There are two database views that are filtered copies of the OBJECT table:
STARS: abs(sharp)<0.7 and ndet>1
GALAXIES: abs(sharp)>0.7 and ndet>1 and prob<0.2
Refer to the OBJECT table for a description of the columns of these views.
