Discover your data!

Use the data discovery tool below, which has data from DECam and Mosaic, to find the data that you are interested in.

Notes: The map above shows a map of log total exposure time from object exposures taken with Mosaic (1, 1.1, 2, and 3) and DECam. You can:

  • Click the magnifying glass to go to a coordinate or object
  • Click the layers button to select the Base image layer, overlay an optical image of the sky (try the fade in/out slider), the catalog of DECam and Mosaic object-frame image centers (as of May 2016), or a catalog of DECam discovered dwarf galaxies.
  • After selecting the May16 image center catalog overlay, click the arrow button to select what is contained in a region that you define with the mouse.
